Today the Judicial Discipline Commission's Standing Committee on Ethics and Election Practices found that my opponent had violated the Code of Judicial Conduct by allowing the names of judges to be listed on his website (and linked to his Facebook page), implying that they had endorsed him.  Judges can donate to campaigns but are not allowed to endorse any candidates, have their yard signs or throw parties for them.  A judge must know and follow the rules of conduct that govern the profession.  The full opinion is here (PDF - 627KB).
